Privacy notice

Effective October 18, 2026.

In short: we never sell data that identifies you, we never use your health data for ads, and this site has no ad trackers.

Who we are

Wayby is operated by Christian Dansereau, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, who is also the person responsible for your personal information, until Wayby's company is registered. This notice will then name the company. Contact: hello@getwayby.com.

What we collect now

  • Survey answers: anonymous; no name, email or IP address.
  • Waitlist emails: only if you choose to leave one, on a separate form, used only for what you tick.
  • Interviews: notes and, with your consent, recordings, using tools we name in the interview consent.
  • Pre-orders: payment handled by Stripe; we never see full card numbers.
  • Site visits: counted with a cookieless tool that does not store IP addresses.

Health data

Survey answers about your medication and side effects are consumer health data. We collect them only with your consent and only to decide what to build. This notice is also our consumer health data privacy policy under Washington's My Health My Data Act.

Sharing

Only with service providers that work for us under contract (Tally for forms, Cloudflare for hosting and cookieless visit counts, and later Stripe for payments). No advertisers. We never sell data that identifies you. In the future app, if you opt in, your data without your name may be included in group statistics (groups of 11 or more) that we share or license to researchers and companies. We commit not to try to re-identify anyone, and recipients must commit the same.

Where and how long

Survey answers are stored by Tally in the European Union and deleted 12 months after the survey closes. Interview recordings and transcripts are deleted within 90 days. Emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Access, correct, delete or withdraw consent at any time: email hello@getwayby.com. We reply within 30 days and honor these rights for everyone, wherever you live.

Changes

We post updates here with a date and ask again for consent before any new use of health data.
